Hi people.... after two weeks of holidays I am back to my island :)
I am sorry for being so long away, but I didn't have good internet to make the blog posts :p
I flew to Portugal and I took my car to do the road trip until Spain.
First day we drove 600 km until Córdoba, but before we arrive there we decided to stop in Tomar to see Convento de Cristo, because I have never been there. The Convento de Cristo have examples of Romanesque, Gothic, Manueline and Renaissance architectural styles.
Basically we passed almost all day on the road :( but we survived.
We stayed in a hotel in Plaza de la Corredera, the view was amazing from the room and we weren't far away from the old city center.
Next day we visited inside the Mezquita-Cathedral de Cordoba (8 euros) and the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos (4,50 euros).
The structure of Mezquita-Cathedral de Cordoba is regarded as one of the most accomplished monuments of Moorish Architecture, its really beautiful all this columns and arches inside.
The Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos it's amazing too, it's very famous for the huge and colourful gardens.
We had time as well to go to arab baths and tried the different pools, they had 4 pools, one with hot water, another one with cold, one with tempered water and one when you could float, it was a nice experience as well.
And of course we couldn't miss a show of flamenco too.
About food we tried their famous flamequin, consists of slices of jamon serrano wrapped in pieces of pork loin coated with egg and breadcrumbs and then deep-fried, hum we didn't like that much :)
I had many nieces pictures about Cordoba to show to you but I deleted almost of them by mistake as well as pictures from Málaga.
It was quite hot but we manage to walk everywhere and see the main tourists places.
You can find many accessible places to eat if you look for "Menu del dia" or if you eat tapas, about accommodation you can find as well cheap options and with quality, you can visit this city without spending lots of money.
It is a nice city full of culture and history, I recommend to everybody to go there.
