HELLOOOO....
So after visited PortoFino and Genova, we went to Monaco.
This is a small independent state, well known for the luxuries houses, cars and the Casino.
One thing that we forgot is that, it doesn't belong to Europe union, so you need to pay roaming and my internet stopped, but my boyfriend we paid so much money on his phone... so yeah remember MOBILE DATA IS NOT INCLUDED on your pack.
Honestly I didn't see too many luxuries things, I found it very normal, but someone told me that the expensive things were near to the casino.
About the food, near to the palace, were many small restaurants and kiosks were you could buy things for normal prices.
We went up to see the Cathedral and the Prince's Palace of Monaco but we didn't go to the Casino, because it was on the other completely opposite side and we were with our cabin bags, plus we were already in Ventimiglia going around before and we still need to go to Nice, so we decided to go straight to the train station that was near.
I saw that was a bus going around with destination to the Casino, so in case you are interest you know that there is a bus to go there from the Palace area.
By the way, the trip from Ventimiglia by train to Monaco is around 30 minutes , the same from Monaco to Nice, and we bought this tickets on the same day.
NICE
When we arrived to Nice we went straight away to our airbnb... super renovated cute studio 15 minutes walking to the city centre and near to the tram bus stop.
The good thing that I found out in Italy and France is that in every corner we had a Carrefour supermarket, so we were going there all the time to buy things and try to economise some euros.
This was the place were all the kids were playing, it had some small water fountains that were opening and closing all the time... and the kids there having some much fun... they would prefer to play there, instead of going to the sea that was 5 minutes walling from there.
I was very surprised from Nice city... super beautiful city, with a nice sea side... we even manage to go to the beach on the next day for a while.
We just stayed on night but i wouldn't mind to stay one night more.
The Russian Orthodox Cathedral is such a stunning monument.. I didn't go inside but I felt in love already just from the outside, like a dream palace
CANNES
The next day we left Nice and we took the train again to Cannes.
We stayed in the Ibis Budget Cannes Centre Villa, very nice and affordable hotel, near to train station and 10minutes walking to the train station.
I found Cannes more luxurious then Monaco.. I saw all the luxurious shops and the hotels were so beautiful too... kind of the same style of the sea side ones in Nice, and of course so expensive cars too.
Very nice thing that I found there, was this platforms on the sea with beach chairs... I think we should start to do something like that in Cyprus.
I night on this hotel would cost 500 euros in the most affordable room.
And it couldn't miss a photo near to the red carpet in Cannes.
